The dramedy's high-flying first season ended with drugged-out nurse Jackie (Edie Falco) learning that her secret lover had befriended her husband. So it's understandable that round two's start is a bit of a letdown. Most annoying: Jackie's hubby is still unbelievably clueless. Don't fret. Savvy humor and stirring medical cases -- and Falco's unflinching performance -- still make the show gel. Plus, Peter Facinelli is priceless as cocky doc Cooper. (Showtime, 10 P.M.)
