Toss this silly Rocky-with-robots effort in the scrap heap. It's 2020, and man-to-man boxing has been replaced by battles between Transformers-size androids. Enter a washed-up fighter (Hugh Jackman) and his neglected tween son (Dakota Goyo), who try to mend their relationship by programming a machine for a match. Each time the flick builds momentum, it drowns in sappy cliches. The appealing Jackman deserves better. A lot better.
