In this gory action flick, Sylvester Stallone, 64 -- who also directed -- plays a mercenary who rescues a woman (Giselle Itie) from a South American dictator. His posse of aging action heroes includes Mickey Rourke, Jet Li and Dolph Lundgren (and watch for cameos by Bruce Willis and Ah-nold). Never known for his subtlety, Stallone needs a lighter touch, and his face looks as laminated as a playing card. The film has some laughs -- but they're largely unintentional.
