Alive? 127 Hours? Lightweights compared to this white-knuckle survival thriller. Liam Neeson brings gravitas to the role of a security guard who, after a plane crash, guides five ornery oil riggers through the remote Alaskan wilderness. The dire situation turns downright grim as the group battles whipping winds, injuries and vicious wolves. (Beware: The animal attacks are brutal and relentless.) Yet, ironically, the film is at its most chilling when the men just quietly converse about their mortality.
