‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Finale Recap: Phaedra Parks Might Have Called the Feds on Kandi Burruss and Cynthia Bailey

All’s well that ends well — just ask the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Though there was the requisite shade thrown here and there on the season finale on Sunday, March 13, the women mainly seemed to be focused on making peace with one another (at least until the upcoming reunion, anyway). It’s probably worth noting, though, that mixed in with all this peace and love was an accusation that one of the ladies had called “the Feds” on two of her alleged friends.

Porsha Plays the Messenger … Maybe

While Phaedra Parks was busy planning her winter wonderland party, Porsha Williams dropped by with some interesting news and showed Phaedra a story online about how the FBI showed up at Kandi Burruss‘ house to confiscate Apollo Nida‘s motorcycle. (ICYMI, Phaedra and Kandi had a bit of a tiff over the fact that Kandi’s husband, Todd Tucker, had agreed to “store” some of Phaedra’s estranged husband’s things.)

“Can you imagine what that must have felt, to have the Feds come to your door?” Porsha asked Phaedra, who didn’t bat a lash.

“I know exactly how that feels,” she replied.

Porsha then added, “I hope that [Kandi]’s not thinking that you called the Feds on her.” Phaedra didn’t say much to that. Because Porsha wasn’t ready to let it go just yet, she asked Phaedra if Kandi had reached out to her about the visit or not. Phaedra said she hadn’t, in a tone that meant she did not want to discuss it anymore. (Good luck with that.)

Matt Has a Special Delivery for Kenya

Meanwhile, the boyfriend of the year, Kenya Moore‘s new beau, Matt, showed up at her place with a very special delivery: two puppies. Kenya explained that she actually purchased the dogs herself but they were too small to take until recently so Matt had brought them to her.

“This is another prime example of why Matt is a rock star to me right now,” Kenya gushed to the camera.

Once she had finished spending a total of five minutes cooing over her new charges, Kenya moved on to more important topics — like whether Phaedra called the Feds on Kandi. “In the hood you don’t drop a dime on anybody, OK? But I think she dropped a dime, I do,” Kenya laughed. Matt pointed out that they were hardly in “the hood,” but Kenya wasn’t about to go off topic.

“Phaedra tries to pretend she forgives people,” Kenya mused to the camera. “Phaedra never forgives anyone.”

Cynthia and Peter Rekindle Their Romance. Then Noel Puts It Out

After what she admitted was a rocky year for her marriage, Cynthia Bailey seemed more determined than ever to make it work. “Jamaica was a major breakthrough for Peter [Thomas] and I,” she said to the camera. “I’m starting to feel like things are back to where they used to be.”

To celebrate their newly discovered affection for one another, Cynthia arranged a massage with “a very happy ending” for Peter. (Just to be clear, she was the masseuse.) “We chose to stay together and work things out and now things are better than ever,” she gushed.

Midway through Peter’s supersensual massage, however, Cynthia’s ex-husband and teenage daughter, Noel, walked into the house. Neither of them seemed to notice that Peter was about to get serviced on a massage table adjacent to the kitchen, but it dampened the mood just the same.

Everyone Gets Coal at Phaedra’s Holiday Party

Having assigned her son Aidyn to be a living Elf on a Shelf (who also had the responsibility of passing out coal to anyone he deemed “naughty,” which was basically everyone), Phaedra got busy playing hostess to her guests at her holiday party.

All of the Housewives were in attendance including Kim Fields and her husband, Chris Morgan, Kandi and Todd, Sheree Whitfield and her ex-husband Bob, Porsha, Tammy McCall Browning, Cynthia and Peter, as well as NeNe Leakes and her husband, Gregg.

The party was in full swing when Sheree noticed Tammy chatting with Bob. Sheree didn’t like that one bit, considering that Bob had claimed to have slept with Tammy at some point and was now actively trying to woo Sheree again. She didn’t mince words and instead came right out and said what her issue was, prompting Tammy to do the same. “Did you or did you not tell her you slept with me?” Tammy asked Bob with a raised brow.

“Is it hot in here?” Bob asked, looking for any way to escape. Finally, he mumbled, “Me and Tammy are just friends. I’ve never had sexual relations with that woman.” When that joke didn’t land, he blamed brain trauma for why he would have said that to Sheree in the past. “Y’all need to go just go ahead and get back together,” Tammy said with an eye roll before walking away. Crisis averted.

Finally, the burning question of whether or not Phaedra had called the Feds on Kandi and Cynthia — who revealed they also came to her house — came up. “Do you think Phaedra may have made that call?” Kenya asked, casual-like.

Cynthia and Kandi honestly seemed not to know the answer to that question. When Phaedra inserted herself into the conversation and they basically just asked her if she’d done it, Phaedra opted to “excuse” herself. Umm. OK.

The party ended with NeNe and Kandi putting the past behind them and a clog/tap-dance performance by Phaedra and Chris — but no answer about whether she had dropped the dime or not.
