‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ Reunion Recap: Shannon Beador Addresses Abuse Claims, Tamra Judge Rips Vicki Gunvalson Over Eddie Rumor

We made it! The third and final installment of the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion special aired Monday, November 21, and it was full of surprises! Heather Dubrow and Meghan King Edmonds hashed out their differences while Shannon Beador addressed allegations that her husband abused her.

As Seen on TV

The ladies started the reunion by talking about their scary dune buggy accident, but reliving their shared terror didn’t exactly bond them. In fact, the Housewives started arguing over whether or not Shannon lied about having pulmonary illness when she flaked on going out to the dunes with everyone. The next argument focused on Meghan’s refusal to go see Vicki Gunvalson in the hospital after the accident.

Heather and Meghan made up after their fight over that during the season, but Heather got angry about it all over again at the reunion, especially when Meghan revealed she hadn’t thought the dune buggy rolling was serious, because when Heather called to tell her about it, she was acting like “TV Heather.”

“‘TV Heather’? I don’t know what ‘TV Heather’ means because I’m Heather on camera and off camera!” she exploded.

Vicki soon grew tired of going over the traumatic incident and asked Andy Cohen to move on to a new topic, prompting Shannon to whisper under her breath that the OG was “bossy.” Vicki halted the whole taping to ask Shannon to repeat herself, and Andy laughed, saying, “Have you ever met Vicki Gunvalson…?”

As we know from the first episode of this reunion special, it’s Vicki’s show, and the rest of them are just on it!

Concerning the David Beador Abuse Allegations

They moved on to the biggest shocking moment from the Ireland trip: Kelly revealing that Vicki told her Shannon’s husband, David Beador, allegedly abused her. Once again, Shannon denied the claim, saying that she had only called the cops once in 2003 because of a verbal argument with David.

“You have made an allegation that is a lie!” Shannon shouted at Vicki.

“I have proof,” the insurance maven said calmly. She told Shannon that she had texts proving that Shannon had come to her after being beaten by David, which caused Tamra Judge to start screaming in Shannon’s defense. Andy quieted Tamra and said that Shannon had the floor.

Shannon told a story from before she and David took to Hawaii after she found out about his affair. She said she either drank too much or was slipped a drug, which resulted in her not knowing how, exactly, she got blood on her pants and was scraped up at the end of the night. She was clear that David was not responsible and claimed that the photos of bruises Vicki said were on her phone were pictures of that mysterious, sad night when she was so devastated by her husband’s infidelity and blacked out.

“Most people are going to believe me,” Shannon said through tears. She continued to berate Vicki, telling her they would never speak again. Shannon walked off the set and let the other women keep yelling at Vicki.

When Shannon came back, she pulled up the photos on her phone, and even Kelly admitted that nothing about Vicki’s claims that Shannon was abused made any sense in light of the revelation of Shannon’s story.

Is It Too Late Now to Say Sorry?

Once Vicki’s claim that Shannon was abused got seemingly blown apart, Andy moved on to ask her about her claims that Tamra’s husband, Eddie Judge, is secretly gay. Vicki swore that was just a rumor she heard somewhere.

“Can you shut up, old lady?” Tamra snapped.

The fitness champion railed against Vicki, but when Andy asked the OG if she was sorry about the way she treated anyone this season, she said all she was sorry for was repeating rumors to Kelly.

They took turns apologizing to each other for using certain words or calling one another names. Meghan apologized for not taking Heather seriously when she called about the dune buggy accident. It was all extremely awkward.

They toasted to moving forward.
