Vicki Gunvalson and Shannon Beador Blame Each Other for ’70s Party Debacle in ‘The Real Housewives of Orange County’ Reunion Sneak Peek

Burn, baby, burn! The Real Housewives of Orange County‘s Vicki Gunvalson and Shannon Beador blame each other for the 1970s party’s tense fight during the Monday, November 7, season 11 reunion, as seen in Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek.

The Bravo series’ preview clip features host Andy Cohen saying that a viewer thinks Gunvalson provoked Shannon’s husband, David Beador, by getting in his face at the event, and Shannon and Tamra Judge agree. As fans know, the confrontation at Shannon’s disco-themed shindig involved David calling Gunvalson a “f–king pig” after she said Shannon was in her element because a fight had broken out between Shannon’s friends and Kelly Dodd.

“David is invisible to me,” Gunvalson says in the reunion clip. “I was talking to his friend across the way, and I said, ‘Shannon’s in her glory — she’s getting stuff stirred up with Kelly.’ That’s when he got in my face.”

While Shannon feels the OG Housewife was to blame for the dustup, she admits that David’s harsh remarks were regrettable. However, Shannon explains that her husband had pent-up resentment toward Gunvalson, particularly after she spread the news about his affair in season 10.

“He wasn’t proud of the language that he used,” Shannon says. “He’s just kind of had it with her, and what we went through last year, and how much I defended him, and how much stress that our family went through.”

Shannon also responded to speculation that her friends at the ’70s party were gunning for Dodd when they brought up rumors about Dodd getting paid for sexual favors. Cohen pointed out that Shannon appeared to be egging her friends on.

“I absolutely do [realize it looked like I was encouraging them], and it frustrates me because I don’t have parties to set people up,” Shannon replies.
