President Barack Obama doesn't Keep Up With the Kardashians -- and that's ok with Rob Kardashian, 24.

During an appearance on Ellen (airing Monday), the Dancing With the Stars competitor said his family wasn't fazed when First Lady Michelle, 47, announced that her husband "doesn't like" when his two daughters tune in to their E! reality hit.

"Obviously someone's watching in that White House," he laughed. "But no, to each his own. I understand he's trying to raise his daughters a certain way and that's fine. Everyone has an opinion."

"But you really learn a lot from our show," Rob added. "There are no negative things on our show. There is always a positive message at the end of the day. But, Go Obama!"

Host Ellen DeGeneres, 53, agreed with the reality star, telling him that he has a "loving" and "supportive" family.

On Thursday, a source close to the Kardashian family told Us Weekly that they "are flattered" the Obama girls watch their show.

In my opinion children shouldn't watch KUWTK and that's the president's point; his kids should be watching a show that has a lot scenes about vibrators ect. & and I watch KUTWK and it's a good show to me but in my opinion kids shouldn't watch this show.

Yeah, I love the Kardashians. I love that the family stick together even though they may have drama. For the President's daughters to watch the show, then it must mean a lot to the Kardashians.

Oh yeah I think it is a positive message to disrespect the parents, talk back to them, steal their credit cards, call each other a B*itch.... BUT all those things are a positive message after all. I like watching the show I admit but I would not say that this show is a show children should be watching NOR is it a show to learn from. It is a guilty pleasure!

I watched the wedding 2 parter but all those large arses with long skinny heads don't interest me.l

After DWTS, Rob should get himself educated and start looking for a job instead of sponging off his parents and living at home.

Ellen is likely right about the Kardashians being a loving and supportive family but that has nothing to do with watching their flaky show.

If I had young daughters, I wouldn't let them watch the show, but I do watch it occasionally.

Hah! See! Obama HAS done 1 thing right...

they are not even celebrities, just cuz their dad was a great lawyer, so what? who cares what they do everyday, what makes them special to have a show,? I just dont get it, I cant stand Kim, love Courtney, shes real! but they are nobody special makes no sense to me.

I never watch their show and I don't like Kim Kardashian.

A sad reality is that America watches this garbage. We should be saying "Whom are the Kardahians, and why are they and the Gosselins on TV" I do nto believe anyone learns anything from the antics these families parade on our TV sets. The only relaity shows that are positive influences on children are 19 kIds and counting and the LIttle Couple" Most of the rest demonstrate a degree of dysfunction and tastelessness that America should be ashamed of.

I learned that the Kardashian's are dumb, worthless, useless, materialistic, fake drama queens. I must admit the Mom is one smart lady, she took her kids who are all of the above and then some and made them ALOT OF MONEY.

How this feud will unravel has yet to unfold, but it would be in all our best interests to run out and buy head to toe leopard (or any animal) print outfits that will serves as the new “what to wear to war” garb, replacing those drab army green army fatigues, which are sooo last season, rather, sooo last war or what have you http://bit.ly/o4ZXLE

Some of the words are bleeped out, so I wouldn't go so far as to say that the show has positive messages. I'm an adult and I enjoy the show, but it is not a show that kids should watch.

Why does Ellen think so highly of that show? That baffles me. I do think it's classy that Rob, apparently an Obama booster, was not offended by the admittedly very mild put-down, relayed second hand, by the president.

    That show is a joke.

  • October 21, 2011 - 11:28am Elda Reyes

only watched the first season and that was enough but like he say's, to each his own. But love watching him on DWTS!!!

  • October 21, 2011 - 11:23am Elizabeth Aspen

There is nothing negative on that show? I'll admit upfront I've never even seen it, but the in-your-face-I'm-better-than-you-because-I'm-rich-and-you're-not jazz doesn't sound the least bit "positive" to me. All of those Kardashians are disgusting and think nothing of the world and it's suffering, only of themselves. It's a travesty that Ellen gives them any attention at all.

what in the hell can i learn from the Kardashian? ill wait.
