Robin Thicke Trades Naked "Blurred Lines" Ladies for Adorable "Still Madly Crazy" Children
Robin Thicke may have finally learned his lesson. While still married to longtime love Paula Patton in March 2013, the singer famously mingled with stark naked models for his "Blurred Lines" video.
One year later, Thicke's marriage to Patton, 38, has fallen apart and he has embarked on a press tour, promoting his new album Paula and trying to win his muse back. In what could be yet another attempt to get back in the actress' good graces, the singer released a new music video to his track "Still Madly Crazy" on Wednesday, July 2, and the naked women are noticeably absent in the visuals.
Instead, Thicke, 37, enlisted adorable children, dressed in tuxedos and white dresses to charm in the clip. While the music video's stars are very different, "Still Madly Crazy" follows a similarly simple aesthetic to "Blurred Lines," focusing on the subjects in front of a blank background.
The cute kids lip-synch the lyrics to the ballad, coupling up as they croon, "What can I say / Oh what can I do / I'm crazy, so crazy for you / I try not to show it / but my heart can't control it / I’m still madly crazy for you."
The video then leads to the children giving wedding speeches, a creative decision Thicke said was inspired by his 2005 nuptials to Patton.
