Former View co-host Rosie O'Donnell isn't too keen on President Barack Obama's decision to appear with the ladies of The View.

"I have mixed feelings about that," O'Donnell, 48, sniffed on her Sirius XM radio show Wednesday, the day before Obama's episode aired. (The President had pre-taped his appearance Wednesday.)

"I don't really think sitting presidents should go do fluffy daytime TV shows. Maybe an hour on Oprah or something," O'Donnell sniffed.

"I don't really want to see him on The View, although I'm happy for them," she added. "That's a good booking, and Barbara [Walter's] going to come back that day after her heart surgery."

The comedienne co-hosted The View in 2006 but dropped out within the year after butting heads with other women on the show during heated political debates.

During Obama's appearance on the show, the women of the show chatted with him about important political, international and social issues -- plus lighter fare, too.

Asked whether he was aware of Lindsay Lohan's current stint in jail, the Commander in Chief replied: "I actually know that, yes." Not on his radar? Jersey Shore's Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi. "I gotta admit, I don't know who Snooki is."

He became tongue tied when asked about Mel Gibson, whose alleged, obscene audio tapes have stormed the web over the past couple weeks . After stammering, he uttered that he "hadn't seen the tapes."

No, he couldn't have been a contestant b'cause he's so ridiculously & incredibly STUPID! I notice how u focused on 1 thing. Address everything! Why is it ok for Ford, Clinton & Republican Gov. Swarz. to do what they've done/did? U've got 2 be freaking kidding me. Bush DESTROYED this Country BEFORE Pres. Obama got in office. Yes? No? Answer the question. U couldn't even if u tried, b'cause denial is a real disorder. I agree, Pres. Obama was elected on the basis of his skin, b'cause the other candidates didn't want to deal with the crap the Bush adm. left. Some say Oksana set Mel up. I say this was the ultimate set up. Let the man of color in the White House & blame everything on him. Bush couldn't hold a candle to Pres. Obama's intellectual abilities. I can see how much Bush did 4 the Armed Forces, left wives, husbands, mother's, father's & children without their loved ones. While the death toll continues to rise. Bush is somewhere out there doing that idiotic giggle, probably picking his nose & ass (of course separately as he can't do both @ the same time) saying "Ah-hee-hee. Laura, I'm glad we left all the mess I created for that beige colored guy." Freakin Moron!

July 31, 2010 - 8:48pm Lets Review, Shall We? Says: So interesting how everyone is making a massive deal about Pres. Obama being on the View, but he shouldn't be treated any different than any other politician who has made similar appearances, i.e. Former Pres. Ford who was on Sat Night Live, Clinton who was on Letterman & Bush who was on "Deal or No Deal." Instead of playing games, Bush should have been handling real life affairs! No one is saying a darn thing about that. _________________________________________________________________________________________ Is there no end to the ignorance of liberals? Apparently not. Bush was not a CONTESTANT on Deal or no Deal, Einstein, so he wasn't "playing the game." A member of our armed services (you know, the people who fight for your right to freely reveal your ignorance) was a contestant and the President appeared briefly, via video tape, to wish the serviceman good luck and to thank him for the work he and other members of our armed forces are doing. In case your tiny liberal peabrain cannot compute, that is significantly different from Obama sitting down and allowing a bunch of cackling hens to slobber over him rather than ask a single question regarding Americans losing their homes and their jobs in record numbers. It's morons like you who are responsible for electing a posturing empty suit with not one shred of executive experience --a man who was elected soley on the basis of the color of his skin. Funny, I thought we frowned on that sort of thing in this country.

Yeah Rosie. I feel you should have never been on The View either! Bye! Go somewhere else where ppl will fall for your opinions, which is pretty much like an ass hole. Everyone's got one.

  • August 01, 2010 - 2:06am Shut UP

We should all listen to Rosie O'Donnell because in all things she is the epitome of style, grace and insightful social commentary. (I just threw up in my mouth a little) PS to Mary: President Obama wasn't elected by an "audience" it was by the voting public of the United States. Shows you what a warped culture that values TV as the ultimate measure of someone's influence

We should definately listen to Rosie O'Donnell's opinions on everything because she is the absolute epitome of style, grace and intelligent social commentary. (I just threw up a little in my mouth)

So interesting how everyone is making a massive deal about Pres. Ford who was on Sat Night Live, Clinton who was on Letterman & Bush who was on "Deal or No Deal." Instead of playing games, Bush should have been handling real life affairs! No one is saying a darn thing about that. Not to mention Republican Gov. Schwarzenegger whose entire State is in debt is staring in an upcoming action movie. Hope he contributes the proceeds. FYI Pres. Obama was on the show for 1 freaking hour of his life. Can he get a freaking "lunch break?" Sometimes I use mine for dr's appts. Maybe he used his for The View. Don't know why ppl are upset b'cause he was asked questions about Snooki. He didn't ask the question! Also immediately after the brief taping of The View, he swiftly attended a meaningful political Presidential function, if it makes anyone happy. Geez, his penis has to be heavy from everyone always swinging on it. Get off his d--k & give the man a break! Those who are against him should feel terrible 4 being so hypocritical.

  • July 30, 2010 - 6:56pm Wendy T Farris

I NEVER thought I'd have something in common with that angry butch woman!

  • July 30, 2010 - 3:29pm SJBailey

Why does his neglect of the Boy Scouts suprize anyone? Clearly, they are smarter than the hosts of The View and would have asked smarter questions and expected honest answers, unlike the View. So unfortunate that America has issues that need attention and he can't seem to pull himself away from his vacations, his golf outings and these cheap lop-sided, pre-prepared stints in front of the media that has less credibility than the National Enquirer! "Remember in November!!"

  • July 30, 2010 - 2:54pm jane

Obama needs to do his job , not pander to the media.

  • July 30, 2010 - 2:42pm FUPA

Mary....that fat pig isn't going down without a fight. Rosie will still haunt our lives! Her mouth is too big and so is her a$$

  • July 30, 2010 - 2:34pm j75

I'm still surprised he DID go on The View. I just wish he would have visited the Boy Scouts, instead...

  • July 30, 2010 - 2:23pm a huge supporter

I think that by going on The View President Obama has shown he is a President of all the people, and doesn't just sit in the White House thinking of new ways to give more tax breaks to the wealthy. He will be re-elected in 2012 because Americans are not stupid enough to hand this country back to billionaires who only care about getting richer while the working man suffers.

  • July 30, 2010 - 2:21pm Mary

Does anyone really care what Rosie O'Donnell thinks? I am a single Southern white female with a gay great-nephew that I love and I believe I am open minded enough and smart enough to speak for myself. Although I don't agree with the show he chose, I do understand that he is trying to appeal to the audience that elected him. It is time for Rosie to fade the scene graciously.

  • July 30, 2010 - 1:42pm Rosie's Fat

    Mitt Romney 2012!!

  • July 30, 2010 - 1:38pm lix

I actually agree with Rosie for like the first time in my life. I mean lets think about this, the leader of our nation is sitting around with the gossip queens of daytime talking about Lindsay Lohan and the Jersey Shore???? It just doesn't make sense. makes him look a little silly. Just my opinion but I think it makes him look foolish.

  • July 30, 2010 - 1:33pm Sky

I agree too, Obama, your a president, NOT a movie star! Start acting like a President!

  • July 30, 2010 - 1:17pm anon

Rosie's fat a$$ actually should have never graced the tv cameras EVER!! So there!! Nothing ever to say but blah blah blah and criticisms.

  • July 30, 2010 - 12:48pm lola

I agree with Rosie and people this is the reason a sitting president should NOT do shows . It makes him look CHEAP , RIDICULOUS and STUPID ! A president ,"any sitting president " will not be taken SERIOUS by appearing on shows ! He should be working for the people of this country .We have too many serious problems at this time ,he needs to be BUSY ! The lame head people who think it so "COOL" have more interest in appearances instead of substance !
