Ryan Gosling, Brad Pitt, Christian Bale Take on Wall Street in The Big Short: Watch the Trailer Now!

Normally when this many good-looking men are in a movie, the word “Oceans” is in the title. But in the upcoming film The Big Short — which has all the makings of a potential Oscars contender — Ryan Gosling, Brad Pitt, Christian Bale, and Steve Carell will take on Wall Street without George Clooney in sight.

The Adam McKay-directed film follows four seemingly normal guys who manage to predict the recession of the late 2000s. It is based on the non-fiction book by Michael Lewis, the writer of Moneyball, which inspired Pitt’s 2011 film, and The Blind Side, which inspired the 2009 film that earned Sandra Bullock her first Oscar.

“You know what, I’m pissed off,” Carell’s character, Steve Eisman, says in the trailer. “And I’m getting madder and madder.”

“The whole world economy might collapse,” Gosling’s Greg Lippman adds.

The Big Short hits theaters on Dec. 23! Watch the trailer and tell Us what you think below.
