Sarah Paulson’s American Horror Story Season 1 Character Returning for Hotel Finale: Details

It’s like she never left! American Horror Story is bringing back Sarah Paulson‘s Season 1 character, Billie Dean Howard, Entertainment Weekly reports.

Billie Dean, who was pals with Constance Langdon (Jessica Lange) in the FX series’ initial season, will return for the American Horror Story: Hotel finale. Viewers will learn that the psychic is now a reality TV star, and she visits the Hotel Cortez to film an episode of her series there.

This means that Paulson will play dual roles in Hotel, as she has also been portraying Sally McKenna, a ghost and permanent resident of the Cortez.

Paulson follows in costar Finn Wittrock‘s footsteps, who similarly played both Tristan and Rudolph Valentino this season.

Additionally, Season 1 characters Marcy (Christine Estabrook) and Dr. Montgomery (Matt Ross) both popped up in Hotel. Series creator Ryan Murphy has previously stated that all of AHS‘ seasons are subtly connected to each other.

American Horror Story: Hotel airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on FX.
