Who's the fairest of them all?

At Comic-Con in San Diego, Calif. Saturday, producers unveiled the first images of Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth and Sam Claflin in the highly-anticipated movie Snow White and the Huntsman.

Stewart and Theron, 35, played up their onscreen rivalry during the star-studded panel. "She's going to give me a run for my money," Theron told fans.

"And I'm ready for it, bitch!" she added playfully. "Let's go!"

Dressed in silver armor, Stewart looks remarkably different than her Twilight alter-ego Bella Swan. Wielding a sword and carrying a shield, the 21-year-old actress plays a less Disney-like version of the titular character.

Theron, who plays the Evil Queen, promised that the film isn't your ordinary fairy tale. "Trust me, she's dark. I'm preparing to play a serial killer," the South African actress said. "Watch out, Kristen."

Hemsworth, 27, plays the Huntsman, while Claflin, 25, plays Prince Charmant. Snow White and the Huntsman begins filming in August; it's slated to premiere in 2012.

When I first heard about this film and that Kristen Stewart was cast as Snow White. I was pretty excited about it. I think she is a talented actress. She has warmed alot of our hearts from her moving performance as Bella Swan. But I don't think she needs to put so much effort into her role of portraying Bella Swan from the novels. Because she has the same quirks and is just as clumsy as the charter she portrays. And has a natural beauty that doesn't stand out so boldly like the character in the novel. I loved her in Twilight and New Moon. But in Eclipse, she didn't hold my attention as she did in the other two films. She has the tendancy to sometimes overact in "some" scenes that are intense such as dramatic fight scenes or even intimate scenes. To the point where it's a little awkward. Don't get me wrong, I love Kristen Stewart. But sometimes she has a hard time delivering the performance when things get hot on the screen. Thats where she loses me. The girl needs to step it up a notch and be comfortable in being in such a vulnerable compromising position on screen. I only hope she does better in Breaking Dawn. but when I heard of her being cast as Snow White. I thought that this would be a wonderful change up for her and bring out her femininity. Because in all her other roles, she's too much of a tom-boy. And it seems every character she plays is always downsizing her as a woman. And so I was disappointed in how they are portraying her as Snow White with armor and carrying a sword and shield. Why is that? Is there something wrong with her that instead of being dolled up in a beautiful flowing dress complete with heels. She has too to be one of the guys still. It drives me crazy. I mean if you were gonna make looking for a woman to play the part of a warrior, you should have chose someone who "looked" the part. Kristen looks rediculous in that get up. She is to too tiny and has no definition in figure. She has no hips, no booty, and not much going on in the bust department either. And her arms are too scrawny. Lindsey Lohan could knock this girl out easy. She does NOT look the part of a warrior woman like Lucy Lawless did even in Xena. I think Kristen does have some charm to her even though she needs more meat on her. The girls practically skin and bones. So how could you put her in that get-up? You had too cover every inch of her with armor to hide her scrawny arms and legs to make her somewhat look the part of a warrior. I think you did a pretty pathetic job of how you chose to dress her. The Wicked Witch however is dark but still beautiful and feminine and is practically tiping the scale in "her" direction instead of towards Snow White. If you could do that with Charlize Theron, then why can you not do it for Kristen Stewart as well? She's a beautiful young lady. And I wish you would complement her looks rather then hide them with armor. You might not feel the same way I do. But thats what I would have wished to see in the movie. But even so, I will go and see the film when it comes out just to support Kristen Stewart.

Kristen didn't say the "b**ch" thing, Charlize did, I watched the video from sdcc. I am so excited for this movie!

I think the people who rejected ks is because it is not like other actors who love to focus on themselves and therefore branded as uppity

    looks interesting got my attention

I think the problem with her is that she's never shown any range in her acting. She's always the same trouble, pouty teenager. In fact, this is her personality in real life, so where exactly is the acting?

Kristen looks like alice...you know, from wonderland...lol...but I think I would love this! :)

and I'm sick of people saying she can't act. she was a respected indie actress with the likes of barry levinson and sean penn hand picking her for roles. If she's good enough for them, she's good enough for me.

  • July 25, 2011 - 12:01pm Jesse Andrew

I just have one complaint: is there something physically restricting Kristen Stewart from looking like a woman?? When I originally heard the idea for this movie I wanted to see it. I thought it was a nice dark twist to the fairytale but this is too much. Charlize Theron looks awesome though!!

  • July 25, 2011 - 10:58am So Infamous

Im sorry but Kristen cannot act

  • July 25, 2011 - 10:54am Lorna Wolbert

I know Kristin Kreuk played SW before, but they should have gotten her again. Or Nina Dobrev.
