She’s a grown woman, she can do whatever she wants! Not only is tennis champ Serena Williams covering the April issue of Vogue, but the star athlete also tackled a Beyonce tune for the fashion mag.
No, you won’t hear her singing along, but Williams, 33, did recreate Bey’s seemingly homemade “7/11” music video for Vogue’s video channel.
Attaching the camera to her tennis racket and filming scenes in her hotel, Williams breaks it down in the minute-and-a-half-long clip, both playing tennis and showing off her fresh dance moves.
“On the court, I am fierce! I am mean and I am tough,” Williams told Vogue in her cover story. “I am completely opposite off the court. My confidence just isn’t the same. I wish I was more like I am on the court. Nobody would know that I am constantly crying or complaining.”
