Sheree Whitfield may be leaving the Real Housewives of Atlanta, but the former Bravo reality star has no intention of slowing down.
Departing the series after four seasons alongside NeNe Leakes, Kim Zolciak, Phaedra Parks, Kandi Burruss and Cynthia Bailey, Whitfield argued that she was too sick of the fighting between cast members to continue.
"The direction the show is going in is no longer a fit for my lifestyle," she told Wetpaint.com, which first reported her departure. "I'm tired of the fighting and the cattiness."
Whitfield, 42, later told one Twitter follower it was simply "time for a change."
As she puts her reality TV past behind her, Whitfield looks to get more involved in fashion.
"Now was the right time to head into other endeavors that she has on her plate," Whitfield's rep told Us Weekly Wednesday. "She's going to be launching her fitness blog and revamp She by Sheree as an athletic clothing line rather than couture fashion."
Explains Whitfield of her next steps: "I want to be part of something that empowers and inspires women to not only be healthy, but to treat themselves with respect."
