Simon Cowell "Sad" Siobhan Magnus Was Kicked Off Idol

Simon Cowell looked sad after hearing that Siobhan Magnus was going home on Wednesday night's American Idol, a show witness tells UsMagazine.com.
Also bummed at the news: fan favorite Crystal Bowersox, who bowed her head when the results were read, and Siobhan's sister, mom and friends, who cried through her exit song.

(Siobhan was in the bottom three alongside Michael "Big Mike" Lynche and Casey James, who all got a group hug from Ryan Seacrest during a commercial break.)
When Siobhan sang her final screaming note, Simon was clearly smiling, even though he had turned away from her.
After finishing her song, the 20-year-old Cape Cod, Mass. resident gave Lee DeWyze a full body hug and stopped to talk to judge Kara DioGuardi, who went running up from her seat to say goodbye.

In the audience: Cameron Diaz and Antonio Banderas, promoting their newest Shrek flick. Diaz spent the most time chatting with Ellen DeGeneres and Seacrest, while Banderas chilled with Randy Jackson.
"Cameron seemed in a great mood, laughing and smiling and waving at everybody," the witness says.
Wednesday night's Idol was full of performances. The Rascal Flatts rehearsed a song during a commercial break, and then spent some time chatting with Jackson. Shakira then hit the stage barefoot with Rascal Flatts.

After the show wrapped, Lady Gaga pre-taped her performance in a set so elaborate, the crew spent three hours the night before building it. She seemed to be singing live, and was definitely playing the piano live. She rehearsed a few times. It airs on the May 5 episode.

A lot had to do with losing the most exciting singer on the show. Sorry Kara, it was never you. You too should not fake being sad. I am tired of Simon's voice, face and motives. I won't be watching X Factor. Isn't America getting tired of reality tv?

Peggy---You sound so original. Not an orginal thought in your head! When people start cutting on another's looks it usually because of flaws in their own self-image. I'd bet you can't carry a note and you struggle having dates! Lets talk about the facts. Siobhan is nice looking, nice figure, not liked by Simon, and is a better singer than several others on the show. She may not be the best but she deserves better than she got!
It's sad to see Siobhan go. She may not have been the best but is definitely better than a few of the others still on the show. Big Mike is one dimensional, Casey is the poorest singer of the bunch and only there because of his looks. These two should be gone. No different then Teflon Tim. I would have ranked Lee and Aaron about the same with Crystal the most talented of the bunch. IMO ranking from the best to the worse: Crystal, Siobhan, Lee, Aaron, Mike, Casey. Two important points is that Simon clearly did not like Siohban. I think he is usually right on in many things but for whatever reason he did not like Shibhan and kept pointing out how different she was. Heck, Crystal is different than most which doesn't make her bad. My second point is that American Idol is getting to be more of a "popularity" contest than a singing contest. The judges should focus more on how they sing! (Taylor Hicks!) By Simon slamming Siobhan because she was a little different he undermined her popularity. Why didn't he slam Big Mike? Here we have a man that is unbelievable strong, must weight 270 and has a voice of a 15 year old girl. I am not saying he can't sing because he can. I am just saying he's different. So what! I beieve with the right coaching Siobhan may have the best chance of going the furthest. It was nice seeing someone like her coming out with a different flare each week! She wasn't afraid to try something differnt. I'll be glad when Simon is gone and the American Idol show has deteriated.

'Zing' is right. The judges called it screaming, but there is a correct term for it, chest belting. There are not very many people in the world who can hit the high notes in the chest range that she can. She's authentic, unique, and a showstopping performer. It's sad that America voted her off. She was finale material. I hope that she continues to make music. I knew from day one that she wouldn't win because of her quirks. (Case in point... America chose Kris Allen as their Idol instead of Adam Lambert, the far superior performer and entertainer.) But she should've been in the top five at LEAST. She was what I watched for. Now I hope Crystal wins. She's the only other performer on that show who is DIFFERENT and interesting. The guys are all been there, done that kind of performers.
Every since she started screaming, I wanted her off the show! Hated the scream, the clothes and didn't see how she ever made it to American Idol. I would not buy any of her music. There's enough of her kind in the market now getting paid for what isn't talent, just funny looking clothing and bad singing.

Such a bunch of SHIIT. Simon was NOT sad. He wanted her to go home so there was no chance of her beating Crystal. So he kept over criticizing her week after week until some of the audience believed it. Simon SUCKS!
