Spencer Pratt Is Not Leaving The Hills
Spencer Pratt, cyber crime fighter? Not so fast.
Contrary to a report, the Hills star is not leaving his MTV show to work for the cyber security division at American Defense Enterprise, a source tells UsMagazine.com
"All of that stuff about him leaving The Hills to fight cyber crime is not true," the insider insists.
The real story? "He is leaving The Hills for six weeks because he was asked to."
The source explains that Pratt, 26, recently "flipped out" on the show's set after a female producer made a request to which he objected.
"He got so crazy that he screamed at [her], 'I should kill you for even asking me to do that!'" the source recounts.
"Very rattled" by Pratt's outburst, the producer filed a complaint with the show's top producers -- who then threatened to kick Pratt off the show.
Pratt's team went back with a compromise: "The show agreed that Spencer would leave The Hills for six weeks to do anger management training once a week at home. If he completes it, he can return to the show."
On Thursday, MTV confirmed The Hills' sixth season (which premieres April 27) would be its last.
Heidi Montag, 23, recently filmed a cameo in her first feature film, Just Go With It, starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston.
