Lisa Vanderpump’s finest are back for more tension and unexpected Sur-prises! Vanderpump Rules season 5 premieres on Monday, November 7, and Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek shows Stassi Schroeder pleading with Tom Schwartz to give Lala Kent the cold shoulder.
The Bravo unscripted series’ preview clip features a heated conversation at a party between Schroeder, Schwartz and Kristen Doute as they discuss Kent, who revealed her interest in Schwartz, 32, during the season 4 finale. Schroeder, 28, asks him, “If Lala comes up and is nice to you, how are you going to be?”
Without hesitation, Schwartz — who is engaged to cast member Katie Maloney — responds, “I’m going to be nice.” (Schwartz and Maloney’s wedding has been teased in promos for the upcoming season.)
Schroeder, unsatisfied with Schwartz’s answer, fiercely defends her best friend, Maloney, and explains to Schwartz that Kent “terrorizes” his fiancée.
Schwartz attempts to put things into perspective by explaining, “For a long time Katie hated you, and you guys had falling outs.” He goes on to say that Maloney “would ask me to inherit these grudges.” When Schroeder accuses him of having done just that, Schwartz admits, “I did it to you because I didn’t like you for real. For a while!”
Schwartz tells the ladies about hanging out with them, “I feel like I can’t voice my opinion.” Schroeder confirms his suspicions, saying, “Only if your opinion is, like, right, and then we’ll let you voice it!”
It’s no secret that Doute, 33, and Schroeder are each other’s ride-or-die, and Schwartz tells the camera about their inseparable bond: “They’re some sort of ‘vagina mafia.’ It’s like they have each other’s back no matter what.”
