Arrevederci, Stefano.

While Wednesday night's American Idol featured a surprise kiss between Casey Abrams and Jennifer Lopez, Thursday's results show was simply a not-so-surprising kiss-off . . . to Stefano Langone.

Langone, 22, who's been in the bottom two and three several times in the past, wasn't shocked when Ryan Seacrest told him he and Jacob Lusk were up for elimination.

"I've been on this road before," said Langone, who survived the show past the beloved Pia Toscano, who infamously was shown the door weeks ago to a huge public outcry.

The crooner impressed the judges on Wednesday with a take on Ne-Yo's hit "Closer" -- but call-in viewers didn't show enough support.

The smiling Langone's swan song? "Lately," which moved fellow singer James Durbin to tears. The final six, then, includes Lusk, Abrams, Durbin, Hailey Reinhart, Lauren Alaina and Scott McCreery.
