Lauren Conrad isn't the only MTV starlet that has a bone to pick with the network.
Her former Hills pal, Stephanie Pratt, told UsMagazine.com Thursday she was just as disappointed when she heard they were scrapping plans for Conrad's documentary-style reality show that was set to focus on her upcoming fashion line.

"I was pretty shocked," Pratt, 24, said at the PETA's New York Fashion Week party. "I think it's such an inspirational show that people really get to see that dreams come true. I was really shocked. I thought it would have been great for kids to watch."

Conrad's bestie, Lo Bosworth, added that she has faith Conrad will land on her Louboutin-heeled feet.
"She's doing great," The Lo-Down author, 24, told Us. "I'm sure everything will work out in the end."

Of course, Conrad didn't take her disappointment lying down. After her show -- which was said to lack the drama and catfights of The Hills was dropped -- the designer, 25, fired back a statement to Us saying, in part, "We delivered the show that we sold and are sorry MTV didn't feel their viewers were savvy enough to appreciate it."

12Yeah, they need to change it to TTV (Trash TV) or RCTVTNRR (Reality Crap TV Thats Not Really Reality)...
She should take her show to Oprah and have it on the OWN network...she has amazing drive and perseverance. Lauren has held her head high and did not get caught up in all the other Hills stars BS. If she were my daughter I would be proud.
Who wants to watch anything with anyone from the Hills in it? Their 15 mins ended years ago. It was cute when they were in high school but not now.
Typical MTV BS. Forget having a show that has hard work and integrity as it's theme. They have to have drama and backstabbing. I hope her show gets picked up by a better station and is a huge success.
Lauren's outgrown the MTV trash mill. Does she really want to be on the same network as the "Jersey Shore" crew? She's better off. She can try selling her show to another network.

I am not really surprised that MTV cancelled Lauren's show before it even started. The era of the Hills and anything on any intellectual or cultural value is over on MTV. Lauren in todays MTV cannot compete in the era of Skins, kid moms and Snooki. LC should find another more compatible network to air her show.
i am shock to! i think lauren conrad is the best! i lover her. who need mtv? maybe she can try with E??
MTV should change it's name. Do they even play music anymore???
It's too bad all MTV want on their network is garbage and no music. I don't watch anything on their channel anymore.
