“Fiji Airlines donated a trip back to Fiji for everyone in the cast. They came in the green room and told us that earlier,” Klein, 25, revealed exclusively to Us Weekly shortly after he won the top prize during a heartbreaking finale, where he revealed he lost his mother, Susie, just two hours after he returned home from the show. “Every single person has airfare to Fiji and back.”

Klein, who immediately donated $100,000 of his prize money to Stand Up 2 Cancer in honor of his mother and her battle with lung cancer, is already thinking the cast could do a reunion trip to the island they competed on.

“I would love to go back with the cast; my family doesn’t even know that yet,” the homeless shelter manager said. “Traveling is definitely one of the things that I will spend money on because it’s something that my mom loved to do. My family loves to travel.”

Contestant Bret LaBelle gushed that he was looking forward to time in Fiji not spent starving and sleeping on the beach.

“I’m excited to go back to Fiji to actually be a tourist and see things. Because I really only had a couple nights there,” he told Us, referring to his few nights post-game at Ponderosa. “A free trip to Fiji — how do you beat that?”
