‘Teen Mom 2’ Season 7 Reunion Part 2 Recap: Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin Talk Divorce, Adam Lind Threatens to Quit

Adam Lind is quitting MTV! Well, if they don’t give him more money, that is. The reality star threw a hissy fit during the Monday, June 20, reunion episode of MTV’s Teen Mom 2, refusing to answer Dr. Drew‘s questions and claiming he was “f–king sick” of the show that made him famous. Meanwhile, Kailyn Lowry got real about her looming divorce from Javi Marroquin, saying it’s “too late” to salvage their relationship.

Kaliyn Opens Up About Her Miscarriage, Worries About Isaac

Kailyn and Javi dealt with a devastating miscarriage this season, and she told Dr. Drew all about her husband blaming her for the loss of their baby. “He was not helpful, not sympathetic,” she said. “I think he was going through it on his own, but we didn’t know how to help each other.”

Sounds rough, but Javi gave his side of the story through FaceTime: “In my mind, I knew it wasn’t her fault,” he said as Dr. Drew nodded wisely. “I was just hurt, and I took it out on her — that was my mistake. That’s where our marriage kinda started going downhill.”

Kailyn accepted Javi’s apology, but it might not be enough to make their marriage work. The problem with getting a divorce? Javi is super close to Kailyn’s first son, Isaac. “That’s a huge reason why I think we’re still together,” she said. “Because Isaac, I mean he calls Javi ‘dad.’ So yeah, that plays a big factor. I think about my mom … I probably had about eight stepdads as a kid.”

Javi’s thoughts? “He’s my best friend. I want to be in this marriage,” he said. “I want all of us to be together. But her mind is set, and when her mind is set, there’s no changing it.”

Looks Like the Era of #Kavi Is Over

So, are Kailyn and Javi 100 percent over? Looks like it, kids. Javi confirmed that he’s moving into his own place, while Kailyn admitted to Joe and Dr. Drew, “It’s hard to think of the fact that maybe I could be happier without him. It’s a really hard pill to swallow.”

Sadly, Javi didn’t seem on the same page as Kailyn, and again said he’s desperate for their marriage to work. “She knows I want my family together more than anything in this world,” he said. “I wake up every two hours hoping I have a text from her — she knows that.”

At the end of the day, Kailyn doesn’t feel supported by her husband — and the fact that he wants another kid is also a major complication. “As of right now, no [I don’t want to be in this marriage],” Kailyn said. “I don’t feel like we’re on the same page. I don’t think we have the same goals and views … He’s saying it too late. You wanna change when it’s too late.” BRB, weeping.

Chelsea Is So Over Teen Mom 2

Look, we don’t know what Dr. Drew did to offend Chelsea, but she did not seem on board with the Teen Mom 2 reunion. Chelsea appeared to be highly displeased during her chat with Dr. Drew, and was particularly miffed when asked if she was going to let MTV film her wedding to Cole DeBoer. “No,” she said. “My relationship is very important to me, and I just feel like some things need to be kept between the two of us.”

Chelsea also said, “I’m just wanting a little more privacy,” and defended herself for not talking with Cole about Adam. “I talk about Adam issues with other people,” she said. “I just choose not to do it with Cole on camera.” Got it, Dr. Drew? Jeez.

Adam Throws Hissy Fit, Demands More Money, Remains Highly Entertaining

Adam is so not here for Teen Mom 2. The controversial dad straight-up refused to answer Dr. Drew’s questions, and was especially upset when asked about missing Aubree’s father-daughter dance. “I don’t know — I don’t have to explain myself to you guys anymore,” he said. “I’m not gonna participate in this anymore — I’m f–king done with it.”

Tell us more, Adam! “I’m here because I’m under contract, and I have to be here,” he continued. “Doesn’t matter. Not gonna give you guys what you want anymore. Done with it. I’m just done with the show I don’t want to participate on the show anymore. I even texted MTV that I don’t want to come to f–king L.A., and I was told, ‘You better get a lawyer to get out of your contract,’ so here I sit. I’m obligated to be here, I’m not obligated to answer any of your questions … I want out of this life. I’m f–king sick of it, so. I’m done with it. Money’s not even worth it anymore.”

At this point, Dr. Drew brought out MTV producer Larry (you know, the guy who infamously fought with Farrah Abraham?), who claimed he simply asked Adam to honor his commitments. But at the end of the day, it seems like Adam wants more money — at least, that’s what we’re getting from Dr. Drew asking, “Is this show about [the] money?” and Adam saying, “Yep.”

Dr. Drew ended up throwing massive shade at Adam, and he implied that he has — ahem — issues. “I would say, ‘It’s not about you — your dad has a condition,'” he told Chelsea while giving her advice on how to approach Aubree about her father. “I’m not gonna speculate, but I have some ideas …”

Wow, Dr. Drew. You really went there.
