Can you hear me now? Farrah Abraham spent the entire Monday, November 14, episode of Teen Mom OG screaming at her mother and making everyone around feel really awkward. Speaking of awkward, Maci Bookout had a very close encounter with an “aggressive” male stripper while her friends watched — and cameras did too!
Maci Goes to the Strip
Maci and fiancé Taylor McKinney were both in Las Vegas for their bachelorette and bachelor parties, but they made a deal not to see each other. Taylor held a “Best Man Olympics” among his friends, while Maci simply saw the best men on the Strip — male strippers!
Maci got pulled on stage (with no help from any producers, we’re sure), and it definitely was something. She later described it as “aggressive,” which was sort of an understatement!
“I hid my eyes a lot,” admitted a friend as Maci worried that she had broken her pledge with Taylor that they wouldn’t let MTV cameras catch them with any strippers. (Note: The pledge wasn’t that they wouldn’t see any strippers!)
Catelynn Goes to the Stables
As a personal bit of therapy for herself, Catelynn Lowell was planning to “investigate” getting a horse. Husband Tyler Baltierra begged her to take her time instead of buying one randomly like she did with the pig that one time. (You can’t make these story lines up, people.)
After a visit to the stable, she was debating buying a horse vs. volunteering. She wanted to be able to bond with a horse that was her own but couldn’t afford it at the moment. Tyler seemed wildly disinterested during the entire conversation.
Amber Goes to a Book Meeting
As more rumors swirled about them than ever before, blogger Matt Richards called up Amber Portwood’s fiancé, Matt Baier, and suggested that the couple write a book separating fact from tabloid fiction once and for all. Amber had been feeling, in her words, “depressed” about the rumors, so after a tearful conversation, she agreed.
“Wait till people actually hear the truth!” her forever-embattled beau said.
Soon, they were off to New York to chat with the blogger and map out all of the inaccuracies they wanted to counter. Things were looking up for the couple, who really wanted to simply live in peace.
Farrah Just Goes Berserk
Farrah’s newest store hadn’t opened on time, so her mom, Debra Danielsen, was staying in town for a few weeks instead of flying back and forth from Texas. Guess what? They fought the entire time over absolutely nothing, as usual. Seriously, they fought about petty things the entire episode.
Daughter Sophia observed, “You have changed, though, a lot from being nice to rude,” when Farrah asked if there was anything she could do to improve as a parent. Farrah brushed that off, saying, “No, I’m being nice, too, so let’s not waste my time. Mommy’s never rude.”
She then called Sophia “whiny,” so why did she even ask the 7-year-old her opinion?
Upstairs, a producer was visiting with Debra, who kept saying she couldn’t continue to be mistreated by her family. Even the producer agreed, saying she had no idea why Farrah kept spiraling normal conversations into screaming. Debra began to cry, sobbing, “Tell me what I’m supposed to do. Tell me why I’m alive.”
Sophia came in and gave her grandmother a hug. Debra then went downstairs, softly told Farrah she didn’t want to fight anymore, and got screamed at again because that somehow made the young entrepreneur angry. Farrah burst into tears and kicked her mom out of the house while the producers and security team stood around uncomfortably.
Tell Us: Is Farrah right to be so hard on her mom?
Teen Mom OG airs on MTV Mondays at 9 p.m. ET.
