‘Teen Mom OG’ Recap: Catelynn Lowell Returns From Rehab, Maci Bookout Slams Ryan Edwards’ Parenting

Ready for drama? Cool, because Farrah Abraham delivered it and then some during the Monday, September 26, episode of MTV’s Teen Mom OG. The controversial reality star got into an epic fight with her boyfriend, while Maci Bookout threw enormous shade at her baby daddy, Catelynn Lowell ditched rehab and Amber Portwood made a huge leap forward. Oh, and in other news, Gary Shirley told the world he had to pee, so yeah. That happened.

Farrah and Simon Drag MTV Into Their Never-Ending Feud

Prayer circle for MTV! Farrah’s producers found themselves caught in the middle of her relationship with Simon Saran, which we can all agree is completely and totally terrible. This week, tensions between the couple were at an all-time high thanks to Farrah moving into her Los Angeles townhouse and forcing Simon to help her. Guys, she spent $1,229 on locks, so can we really blame her for being stressed? No.

That said, Simon — who was buying Farrah’s furniture as payback for that engagement ring — wasn’t particularly kind to Farrah during the move and ended up forcing MTV producers to deal with their moving truck after saying, “She drives me crazy. She’s nuts.” Farrah’s reaction? “He thinks it’s f–king funny to say to me, ‘Oh, I’m buying you this furniture because I feel like being nice today, or whatever.’ He owes me f–king money. No, he’s a f–king liar, a scam artist. I’ve had a-f–king-nuff because I’m so f–king disturbed. I don’t even f–king care.”

So, what we’re getting here is that Farrah might, maybe be mad at Simon. But honestly, it’s hard to tell.

Maci Rejects Ryan, Throws Very Chilly Shade His Way

And none for Ryan Edwards! Maci’s ex-boyfriend didn’t score an invite to her daughter’s first birthday party, and ya better believe he was offended, tragically musing, “Maybe they didn’t want me to come.”

The thing is, Maci would have been fine with Ryan attending the soiree — she was just sick of his lackluster parenting skills. “He doesn’t have any other children, he doesn’t have a job, he doesn’t have anything else to do,” Maci complained to a friend after revealing that Ryan has been missing their son’s ball games. “He doesn’t get it because he never had to grow up. He’s 28 years old — his mom still cleans his room and does his laundry and makes his sandwich for him and takes care of his child on the weekends. He’s never had to do anything. Ever. Its like he’s his big brother, not his dad.”

Yikes, Ryan, time to prove Maci wrong!

Amber Settles Into New House, Gary Pees in It

Amber officially has an MTV crib! The reality star moved into a superswanky new house, and told her producers that the upgrade was a big eff-you to haters. “People would say online, ‘Oh, she doesn’t have any money, look where she’s living,’ and stuff,” she explained. “We just laughed. Because I’m like, ‘Well, you don’t know what I’m working towards, and it’s not your life.’ So this is our big eff-you.”

Fair ’nuff, and bonus — Amber’s new place is closer to her daughter’s school, which means they should be able to spend more time together. You know, assuming Gary is game (he implied that Leah doesn’t brush her teeth with Amber, so there’s definitely still tension there). “When I seen [Leah] unhappy when we would go to the custody battle, I was so f–king depressed,” Amber told her producers. “I even told [Matt] one day, ‘If I have to keep going on like this, I’m gonna kill myself.’ I felt so down on myself, I had to call off picking up Leah a couple Wednesdays because of it. I didn’t want Leah to see me that day.”

Fortunately, Matt, Amber and Gary seem to be getting along super well — Gary even peed in their new house after announcing that he felt sick upon entry! Yay!

Catelynn Gets out of Rehab, Is Stone-Cold Sober

She’s baaaaack! Catelynn made her triumphant return to her family after spending an entire month in rehab, and it looks like therapy might have done the trick. Not only did the star tell producers that time away helped tremendously, she told her therapist that she wasn’t diagnosed with PTSD or panic disorder, and had even given up pot! “I’m just not gonna hit it,” Catelynn explained. “I got out feeling good about myself, so I’m just gonna keep that going. I think this is the best thing I’ve ever done in my life. For myself.”

Great news, but Cate also seemed worried about living life in front of the camera, telling producers, “I kinda wanna take this whole MTV s–t just a little slow. Just, like, warming up to it all.” Don’t leave us, Catelynn — this show would be nothing without you!
