New beginnings with the same old drama. Teresa Giudice rehashes an old fight with Jacqueline Laurita in The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Sunday, August 14, episode, as seen in Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek.
The Bravo series’ preview clip shows Giudice, 44, telling Laurita, 46, that she wants to cut “anyone that’s not loyal” from her life, which quickly leads to a conversation about one of their infamous past feuds. Back on season 4 of the reality show, Giudice was outraged when Laurita asked her about early tabloid reports of husband Joe possibly heading to jail. Teresa and Joe, 44, were sentenced to prison on October 2, 2014, for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud.
“Somebody could’ve been putting that story out,” Giudice says in the clip of initial rumors of the couple’s legal issues. “And they did.” Laurita quickly defends her decision to ask about the years-prior news story: “How was I gonna know better?”
While the two women’s tumultuous relationship has appeared to cool down since the Turning the Tables author’s December 23 return from prison, tensions rise in the clip, as Giudice points out that she never asked about Laurita’s legal battle over husband Chris' now-bankrupt clothing company.
“Mine wasn’t a criminal case,” Laurita replies. "I wouldn’t file a fraudulent bankruptcy like you did.” Giudice is quick to shoot back: “That’s a f--kng low blow."
The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs on Bravo Sundays at 8 p.m. ET.
