Perhaps they can’t stand the heat? Cooking gets dangerous as actors Terry Crews and Boris Kodjoe face off during Fox’s MasterChef Celebrity Showdown, as seen in Us Weekly’s exclusive first look.
The two-hour special, airing Monday, January 18, features four cooking showdowns between familiar faces. The battles include models Gigi Hadid vs. Devon Windsor, Empire’s Kaitlin Doubleday vs. Ta’Rhonda Jones, previous MasterChef winners vs. MasterChef Junior’s season 4 contestants, and Crew and wife Rebecca Crews vs. Kodjoe and wife Nicole Ari Parker.
The clip shows host Gordon Ramsay informing Terry and Kodjoe that they are about to take over in the kitchen for the women in a tag-team challenge.
“Nice and fluffy,” Brookyn Nine-Nine’s Crews offers as encouragement.
However, a dramatic turn occurs when Last Man on Earth star Kodjoe tries to leap over the counter to join his wife and ends up taking a hard fall. To see the scary moment, watch the video above.
