Prince Farming has still got it! Ashley Iaconetti, who competed for Chris Soules‘ affections on The Bachelor season 19, tells Us Weekly exclusively how she feels about her sister, Lauren Iaconetti, hooking up with the Iowa-based farmer at Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert‘s January 24 wedding.
Ashley was a guest on Jenny McCarthy‘s SiriusXM radio show Dirty, Sexy, Funny last month, where she teased that there may have been sparks between Lauren and the former Bachelor.
“He may or may not have, like, made out with my sister at the wedding,” Ashley, who runs eyelash line Lashed x Lashley, told McCarthy. “Maybe she went to his hotel room, and that’s all you need to know.”
Ashley tells Us that Lauren and Soules did in fact hook up, and she points out that she is happy about it, even though Ashley herself broke down in tears when the farmer sent her home during a two-on-one date last season.
“I thought it would be funny if Lauren made out with Chris because she was into him on The Bachelorette, even before I was into him,” Ashley reveals to Us. “She thinks he’s hot. It was probably just a one-night thing. It was innocent.”
Lauren joined her sister on Bachelor in Paradise season 2 last summer but voluntarily left the show early in the season after explaining that she wanted to rekindle things with a guy back home.
Ashley had her own relationship drama at the Bachelor in Paradise lovebirds’ wedding, which aired on Valentine’s Day for ABC’s Bachelor 20th Anniversary Special. She broke down in tears at the reception when she realized that The Bachelorette season 11 alum Jared Haibon — who she dated on Paradise — didn’t reciprocate her romantic feelings. “I just want to be with him,” Ashley told the camera.
