The ladies are back . . . in miniature form. The cast of the classic series The Golden Girls are the latest TV character to get their very own Funko figures.

The news was first announced on Popvinyls.com on Saturday, February 13, and has since gone viral. “Golden Girls POP! Concept Art from Funko 2016 Catalog!” the photo caption read.

The Golden Girls ran for seven seasons on NBC from 1985 to 1992 and starred Betty White (Rose Nylund), and the late Rue McClanahan (Blanche Devereaux), Bea Arthur (Dorothy Zbornak) and Estelle Getty (Sophia Petrillo).

The tiny Funko dolls are sure to be a fan pleaser, as they match the beloved characters’ style and attitudes perfectly. Rose wears a blue dress while Blanche shows off her glamorous side in an all-red ensemble. Dorothy has her arms crossed for a bit of sass while Sophia rocks large bifocals. Her figure is also the tiniest!

White, 94, has yet to comment on the new products, but she has reminisced about the show over the years. Back in 2010, she said that the cast definitely knew that the series was going to be something special.

“You get a lot of scripts mailed to you and not too many of them are good, but when this one came along it just hit the spot and they sent it to each of us,” she told the Associated Press at the time. “We all sat down for the first table read and somebody read a line and then somebody else read a line . . . We all began to look at each other because there wasn’t any first reading feeling about it. It was like we had been working together forever. I still get goose bumps thinking about it.”

“I send up a prayer of thanks for the writing. We can’t do it without the writing. It has to be on the paper,” she added. “No matter how much credit they try to take, actors can’t do it unless it is on that page and boy was it on that page. To get that kind of writing is such a privilege.”

Funko has created a lot of TV and movie character dolls over the years. Some feature the casts of Friends, Hannibal, Game of Thrones and Star Wars.
