The Hangover 2 Dominates Weekend Box Office

Second's time's the charm!
The Hangover Part 2 dominated the box office this holiday weekend, pulling in an estimated $85 million, according to Deadline. The raunchy sequel to 2009's The Hangover stars Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha and Ed Helms.

Another sequel brought in big bucks over the weekend: Kung Fu Panda 2. The animated film, featuring the voices of Angelina Jolie and Jack Black, earned $47.5 million in its opening weekend.

Pirates of the Caribbean 4, starring Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz, was the third highest earner at the box office. In only 10 days, the adventure flick has earned over $500 million worldwide.

In its third week in theaters, Kristen Wiig's Bridesmaids brought in $21.5 this, followed by Thor 3D earning $8.5 million in its fourth week.
