Practice makes perfect!
Curtis Grimes and Emily Valentine's sexy smooch may have seemed spontaneous when the pair locked lips on Tuesday's The Voice, but Valentine insists she was just playing to the cameras.
"We choreographed it all night long!" the rocker, 23, tells Us Weekly of her kiss with country crooner Grimes, 25, which happened after the pair performed Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now."
Another thing Valentine planned going into her head-to-head battle with Grimes? The chance to come out victorious.
"I didn't think it was going to be a challenge, although it proved later on that maybe I had a little bit more to worry about than I thought," the eliminated singer told reporters during a Wednesday conference call. "To be honest, when you're a sexy lady, you think you would have an edge. I was banking on that, but I guess I was wrong."
As Grimes progresses to The Voice's live shows, Valentine says she's open to the idea of cozying up to the country crooner.
"Curtis is a gem and I would like in the future to hang out with him on a real level," says Valentine, who played coy Tuesday when asked by The Voice's Carson Daly if a romance was blossoming. "We're great friends. Call it what you want, the feelings are real and there. I would love to sing with him again, if you know what I mean."
