Review | Bright Star
OPENS: FRIDAY 9/18
Based on the doomed affair between English poet John Keats (charmer Ben Whishaw) and neighbor Fanny Brawne (Abbie Cornish) — whom Keats deemed the “bright star” of his work — Jane Campion’s romance is as heady as expensive floral perfume. Recalling a young Nicole Kidman, Cornish delivers her most memorable performance. While Keats’ death at 25 gives the story its tragic edge, Campion’s
striking images of the pair show that true love can survive many lifetimes.

Tell Us What You Think
2I will definitely go see Jane Campion's new film Bright Star when it opens in theaters this Friday (Sept. 18th). The visuals look amazing, and the music is truly haunting. You should check out the film's official site, where they just announced the Love Letter Contest. Those who enter will have to submit a hand-made love letter or love tweet for their chance to win two unique pieces of jewelry from A Diamond Is Forever. Runners up will receive a fountain pen from Montblanc. Find more details here: brightstar-movie.com
I'd go see it. She's beautiful.
