Needy (Amanda Seyfried) and Jennifer (Megan Fox) are classic high school BFFs — Needy’s blonde, the other’s brunette; one’s hot, the other’s hotter. But one night after a concert, Jennifer takes off with some of the band — and the next day comes to school with a cannibalistic taste for boy flesh. With a script by Juno’s Diablo Cody — no one-hit wonder! — this is a hip horror movie about a girl gone supernaturally wild and the lengths her best pal must go to try to save them both. And how refreshing that neither character plays the clichéd victim.
