Review | New York, I Love You

OPENS: Friday 10/16

An A-list cast can't save this strained collection of NYC stories. In one vignette, Bradley Cooper beds Drea de Matteo on a one-night stand, and the duo consider a rematch. Natalie Portman plays an Orthodox Jewish bride in another. A third, with Robin Wright and Chris Cooper as anonymous smokers chatting outside a downtown cafe, starts off promising, but ends as predictably as a college freshman's first short story. Taxi!
