Could Rachel, Finn and the Glee club soon be singing all Britney Spears tunes?
Two days after a Madonna-themed episode aired on Fox, Spears' manager took to Twitter to campaign for an all-Brit version.

"Do you guys want to see a Britney Spears episode of GLEE? Thoughts?" Adam Leber asked Thursday before starting a trending topic, #BritneySpearsGLEE.

Glee's "The Power of Madonna" episode pulled in 13.5 million viewers last Tuesday, making it the night's highest-rated scripted series, according to The Hollywood Reporter. It will be reaired Friday night.

"I thought the Madonna episode of Glee was brilliant on every level,” Madonna, 51, told UsMagazine.com. “The dialogue and the entire script was genius."

23Dear alonso 1. YOU have done nothing for music. you are not qualified to decide who is or isnt a legend/icon 2. what is wrong with ONLY being famous for pop songs for teenagers. (a)pop songs are great and loved by many people. (b)teenagers need music too. (c) Britney IS and ALWAYS will be more famous than you 3. i think if britney gets a glee episode because her manager just mentioned it on twitter then that is pretty badass and therefor would make her a legend!!! 4. but dont get me wrong i enjoy ALMOST every artist you mentioned and would love to see an episode made for everyone of them because doing things like this, just being everywhere and doing everything is what makes you memorable enough to become an icon p.s. your forgetting that glee needs songs that follow their storyline and i dont think that would be a problem if they did a whole Britney episode

Britney Spears HAS DONE NOTHING for music! She is only famous because of catchy pop songs for teenagers, she IS NOT an icon or a legend in music. She IS NOT EVEN A REAL SINGER! If "Glee" does a Britney Spears episode then they're DOOMED! & what about Christina Aguilera!? She IS A REAL SINGER & ARTIST so why doesn't she get an episode too? Oh, & Lady Gaga too! Ok, all of them are not still legends & Britney WILL NEVER BE ONE! All of this was not started because Britney is a legend or the "Glee" creators wants an episode about her, it's because her STUPID MANAGER started all this stupid thing about an episode about her! Britney Spears HASN'T revolutionized music, she IS NOT a legend or an icon. So doing an episode about he IS SO USELESS & STUPID JUST LIKE doing an episode about Miley Cyrus, Just Bieber, Kesha or Lindsay Lohan. So, OF COURSE THAT IT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA! Now, an episode of "Glee" about Annie Lennox, Cyndi Lauper, Donna Summer, Janet Jackson, Kylie Minogue, Elton John, the Spice Girls, Sade or Cher is WAY BETTER than an episode about the awful & stupid Britney Spears!
I wish there were laws that prevented the media from scrutinizing a celebs' every move. Give them space. But the paps won't let them. I guess the gossip mags would go out of biz but who needs them anyway? You can read real entertainment news from real news sites or papers -- they cover events that are actually newsworthy and not some celeb getting a cup of coffee or something really trivial.
ew no, and bgower, i am NOT jealous of britney. maybe of her money, but not her. ew. trailer trash who got lucky. i don't know how she made it so big, she can dance but she cannot sing or act.
There are so many jealous, Britney haters out there... she, too, is only human, and she is entitled to make mistakes; it is unfortunate that the media allows the public to scrutinize her every move by invading every aspect of her life. As rich as she is, it is not easy to be Britney Spears. Give the girl a break; if nothing else, at least appreciate her for successfully achieving her childhood dream of becoming a superstar (because how many people have actually converted their dreams into reality?).
i would watch over and over! :) and I'm sure my friends would as well..i'll admit that brit's overly-sexy/erratic image gets the best of her reputation sometimes, but she has damn good songs that would be awesome to watch gleeified!

I used to realy like Glee when there were 2 songs to an episode. Now they burst into song every 5 minutes and I am sick of it. My husband used to watch it with me but now he just gags and leaves the room. Anybody else feel the same, or is it just me?
I don't watch Glee, but I would DEFINATLY watch it if they had a Britney epidose, even if she wasn't in it! Britney is the QUEEN of pop! And all the haters can go f**k themselves!
