VMA Seating Chart
Us Weekly takes a look at the 2015 MTV VMAs seating arrangement -- find out where Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, and more celebs are sitting!

Get the front-row scoop from Us! While Miley Cyrus will be onstage hosting the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards come Sunday, Aug. 30, her fellow celebrities will be seated in the crowd shoulder-to-shoulder, some rubbing, others not so much. Here, Us Weekly takes a look at the name cards revealed on Friday ahead of the VMAs.

Justin Bieber

Let’s hope they have Bieber fever! While it remains a mystery who will be seated directly next to the “What Do You Mean” singer, Bieber will be in good company at Microsoft Theater. Seated directly behind the pop sensation will be nominees Big Sean and E-40. The rappers will be wedged in front of fellow nominees Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy.

Taylor Swift

Nice to meet you, where you been? Taylor Swift will be surrounded by at least one member of her model squad in the venue. The 1989 hitmaker and nominee, 25, will be sitting in the first row a few seats away from Gigi Hadid and recently single Nick Jonas. Perhaps not coincidentally, Hadid is currently dating Jonas’ big brother Joe Jonas.

Pharrell Williams

Fun, fun, fun! The “Happy” hitmaker, who will be performing on Sunday, will be surrounded by some of music’s hottest names. They include “Cool for the Summer” singer and scheduled performer Demi Lovato, nominee Colbie Caillat, and presenter Rita Ora. To Caillat’s left will be former Fashion Police host Kelly Osbourne, who is hosting the VMA pre-show with Sway.

Pharrell’s “Blurred Lines” music video costar Emily Ratajowski will also be at the show on Sunday, seated near “Whip/Nae Nae” smash hitmaker Silento, duo Twenty One Pilots, and others.

Miley Cyrus

Please, she’s just being Miley! The 2015 VMAs host struck a pose during rehearsals on Friday, taking a seat between Kylie Jenner and presenter Britney Spears.

In an interview with the New York Times on Thursday, Cyrus explained why she was asked to return to the stage this year — to host, that is. “Van Toffler, who runs MTV, it was his last year. He’s leaving, and so he can’t get fired,” she told the paper in the revealing Q&A. “He was like, ‘I want to do something crazy — I want you to host the VMAs, because I want that to be my last shebang.’ It’s like Ferris Bueller’s Day Off… I wanted to do it right away. I love the VMAs, I love MTV. I don’t watch it, but what I used to watch of it I love.”

Cyrus even has an opening monologue ready to go. “Seth Rogen and his team helped us write a lot. [The artist] Jen Stark is doing the introduction for me, so I’m coming out of one of her pieces,” she told the Times. “What I’m trying to do is create my Instagram — which people love to think is so freaky — in real life. It’s letting people into my world.”

However, don’t expect improv. “I’m not a stand-up. That’s what it always feels like — like everything’s flopping and dying out there,” she shared. “So my intro is fun skits.”

Tune in to the 2015 MTV VMAs with Us Weekly on Sunday, Aug. 30, at 9 p.m. ET.
