Who needs David Bowie and Bing Crosby when you have Jack Black and Jason Segel? The comic actors and "Gulliver’s Travels" co-stars joined together to remake Bowie and Crosby's storied 1977 spin on two Christmas classics, "Peace On Earth" and "Little Drummer Boy" -- and all for a good cause! The duo will give all of the proceeds from sales of the single to Blue Star Families, a non-profit created by and for military families (get a more detailed explanation at bluestarfam.org).
"BSF is extremely grateful for this gift," explains Mark D. Smith the Executive Director of Blue Star Families. "This gesture serves as a wonderful example of the strong support our military families enjoy for all their sacrifices from the civilian community across the country. We would like to especially thank Jack Black and Jason Segel for their generosity."
Check out the fun above and see the guys reunite in the 3D comedy Gulliver's Travels, hitting theaters December 22. Hey, what else were you gonna do on Christmas?
