Get ready to finish up them taters! Netflix released the first photos of Wet Hot American Summer’s limited series — and oh, how glorious they are! Susie (Amy Poehler) and Ben (Bradley Cooper) are back behind the piano (those matching pink shirts though!) and crazy Gene (Christopher Meloni) is killing it with splits in the kitchen.
Fans of the 2001 comedy can also expect the camp counselors to still be wearing their extra cool ’80s threads, getting naughty after lunch, and goofing off in the tightest jean short shorts imaginable. (Ken Marino’s Victor Kulak especially!)
Meanwhile in Andy land, Paul Rudd’s jerk of a character already seems to be knocking boots with Katie, played by Marguerite Moreau. Gerald ‘Coop’ Cooperberg (Michael Showalter) doesn’t seem to be too upset though. In one snapshot, he’s cheering — those tube socks! — with the rest of the gang outside the camp director’s office.
Andy’s future fling Lindsay (Elizabeth Banks) has other things on her mind, too. Clad in bell-bottom jeans and a crop top, she’s off being sassy as usual with some of her campers.
The new show also stars Janeane Garofalo, Michael Ian Black, Molly Shannon, Marisa Ryan, Nina Hellman, David Hyde Pierce, Joe Lo Truglio, H. Jon Benjamin, A.D. Miles, and Zak Orth.
Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp’s limited eight-episode Netflix series premieres on Friday, July 31.
