Why Jennifer Lopez Cried at Her Concert

Big girls do cry -- just ask Jennifer Lopez, who burst into tears during a Saturday concert at Mohegan Sun in Montville, Conn.
With thousands of adoring fans looking on, the newly-single mom got emotional during a love song montage that paid tribute to three of her most high-profile romances; with male dancers playing the parts of exes Diddy, Ben Affleck and Marc Anthony, Lopez, 42, teared up during what she called a "trip down memory lane."

Why the waterworks, exactly?
"It was the Marc part of the montage which choked her up," a Lopez source explains to Us Weekly of Anthony, 43. She and the father to her twins Max and Emme, 2, announced the end of their 7-year marriage in July. "She can't help but feel sad over the loss of a marriage that went on for so long. She's emotional about the whole thing still."

"Part of her dislikes him so much," the source admits. "But another part still loves him in a way, he's the father of her children. It's confusing. She's going through a whole array of emotions right now."

Complicating matters even more, perhaps, is Bradley Cooper, whom Lopez recently began seeing after he pursued her for months. Although the 36-year-old Limitless star treated Lopez to a luxe meal at NYC's Per Se in early September, flew to Boca Raton, Fla. to be with her later that month and was spotted exiting his L.A.-area home in early September, he wasn't in the audience for Saturday's teary performance.

bradly cooper that guy seems to be quite calculating in the female stars he dates, he is like a hollywood social climber.. as for jennifer, well, she is a woman for gods sake ! giver her a break, yes, diva tag comes with the territory but i will stick up for her right to cry its her marraige and the end of it she has the right to be sad i dare anyone not to be so, money doesnt protect your heart it just pays the bills and keeps you in comfort so, can i have some of that pls.. ? .. lol!

Without having been there how can you possibly judge what happened? By listening to the biased media? I WAS there and it's amazing to me how NO ONE is talking about the other 115 minutes of her concert!! She danced her ass off, sang impeccably, had an amazing orchestra/band, fantastic backup vocals and dancers, and a stage show hard to be matched by others. She didn't burst out in tears and have a "breakdown" as you all elude to. She simply teared up and wiped them away. Have none of you compassionate people ever heard a love song and been taken back to a previous emotional relationship? Hasn't there ever been one particular song associated with a love interest that could reduce you to tears despite the fact you've heard it a million times? She's a human being just like the rest of us!!! As for myself her concert/show was professional and entertaining beyond belief! And I'm not even a die hard J Lo fan!

Jennifer, why even bring up Ben Affleck? He was smart to get out of that relationship, a laid back type to a high maintenance queen! He got on with his life with the right JENNIFER, HE?S HAPPY! Get on with your life with your children only, why get involved with any man, do you need one? You can still be happy with JUST THE KIDS? Ask your mom?
it is a sad situation thats her kids father an most important he was her husband for many years... i hope they can fix it but it all depends on how bad was the break up...
