Could Fez, Kelso, Donna, Jackie and the That ’70s Show gang be headed to the big screen? Wilmer Valderrama sure hopes so.
Reuniting with his cast mates Ashton Kutcher (Kelso), Mila Kunis (Jackie) and Laura Prepon (Donna) to film a FOX 25th anniversary network special looking back on their series earlier this month, Valderrama (Fez) now says he’d love to see the program make the jump to the big screen.
“I can’t tell you it’s really happening, but we’re thinking that a That ’70s Movie would probably be more appropriate than a ’70s [TV] reunion,” the actor, 32, told E! News Thursday, reflecting on the program that skyrocketed him to fame through its eight-year run from 1998-2006.
Shortly after the cast regrouped to reminisce about their series, Kutcher, 34, and Kunis, 28, broke off from the group for three days of alone time.
On April 19, Kutcher — now appearing on Two and a Half Men — whisked his former costar away to Carpinteria, Calif. (87 miles outside Los Angeles) for 72 hours of shopping and dining.
Though the pair have been spending quite a bit of time together, Kunis remains wary of Kutcher, whose marriage to Demi Moore dissolved after he famously cheated on her with San Diego 22-year-old Sara Leal.
Says the source of Kunis: “Mila wouldn’t stand for that kind of stuff. She’s a strong, smart girl.”
