Exclusive: Witnesses: Jason Bateman Is Lying About iPhone Incident

Deny it all you want, Jason Bateman.
After two sources confirmed to UsMagazine.com the actor, 41, outraged more than 2,000 people by cutting in line for an iPhone 4 last week, he wrote on Twitter, "There wasn't one boo. Not one hiss. The Apple guy brought me in away from the paparazzi. Period. I was content in line. I wish I'd stayed."

But more eyewitnesses have come forward to back up Us' report that he was escorted by employees into the store. And there was, at most, one photographer "who kept a respectful distance," customer Andrew Hamer tells Us.
"It was so much drama! It was the most surreal experience. People were so pissed because that line was ridiculous," adds Angela Mayhew, who was one of the first people in line who arrived at 3:30 A.M.
Mayhew tells Us that Bateman arrived to the L.A. Apple store around 4:45 A.M., and initially waited "like everybody else." But around 10 A.M., he was escorted inside first.

"I heard commotion in the back. I thought someone was fighting," says Mayhew. "Then he strolls right on by with the Genius Bar guys and suddenly people in my area started to yell, 'What the hell is going on?'" (Hamer says Community actor Donald Glover saw Bateman getting walked in and "tried to get the same special treatment, but [employees] told him, 'Nope! Sorry!'")
Bateman's pal Keith Olbermann came to his defense on his MSNBC show, saying those in line were booing at paparazzi, but Mayhew insists they were yelling "at him!"
"It was loud, passive-aggressive anger. There was a chorus of boos and then people shouting, 'What?' and 'We've been here for hours!' We were patiently waiting before then [and] that just made everyone's blood boil," adds Mayhew. "Plus, people starting yelling at the Apple guys too. They escorted him like he was a pretty big deal."

Mayhew sat next to Bateman as the Apple employees personally transferred over his contacts to his new phone. "Then when he was done, he was out of there in a flash," she fumed to Us.

And you sign when you buy. so Bateman had to show himself to get his phone That said, if he wanted to be treated special he would have called the store and insisted on being let in the back where no one would know he was there.

I don't believe a single word of this story. Your sources were misquoted. Try getting writers who write the truth of what witnesses say.
Whiners. People are pissed because it was visible. I'd be interested in knowing how many others stars got the special treatment without anyone else knowing. If you were in his situation, would you have stayed put? I don't think so.
Look, the guy could have sent his assistant or had his manager call in a favor, but instead he showed up at 4:45AM to wait in line like everybody else. I would've let Troy...erm...I mean, Donald Glover go inside the store instead of Jason Bateman.
So he waited almost 5 hours and got escorted in ahead of everybody, big deal! I guess if it was a bigger star, nobody would have thought twice about it!
This story would have gone away by now if Olberman hadn't attacked Us magazine as "worst peron in the world" for reporting it, and falsely accused the magazine of getting the story wrong. Some "friend". But that's Olberman, never let a chance for misplaced vitriol go to waste.
Too bad somebody didn't spit on him, or better yet punch him in the face as he passed by. That would have been hilarous! Maybe that person could have wiped that arrogant smirk off this marginally talented actor's face, once and for all. Jason is an ugly loser. Next....
Sad part really is, the people, including Bateman apparently, who stood in line for more than 6 hours to buy a PHONE. Yes thats right a phone... which arguably does a lot more things, but still.... what does this really say about us?
Jason is B list actor. Keith Olbermann is a second rate correspondent. Iphones are cheap plastic phones that will be available to everyone in a few weeks. If you are fool enough to stand in line for hours for a piece of plastic then you probably are fool enough to think Jason and Keith are real friends.

Is Jason Bateman geting his pals to post the same stupid comment over and over. Bottom like, the guy's a jerk and so are the people at the Apple store.
