Pimp my ride! A lucky contestant on The Price Is Right won big on Monday, February 15 — she scored an Aston Martin sports car worth $120,265!
As part of the game show’s Dream Car Week, contestants have the chance to win a Mercedes, Tesla, Porsche, Maserati, BMW or Aston Martin, the British sports car best known for being driven by 007, James Bond.
Francesca, a wedding photographer and full-time mom from the San Francisco Bay area, started off with the chance to win a hairdryer, wine vacuum cork and frozen dessert maker while playing the Spelling Bee game, in which the goal is to pick the letters for the word “car,” but the stakes escalated quickly.
Host Drew Carey asked her to choose between $25,000 and the luxury ride. “I think have to try to get the car,” she said as a man, who appeared to be her husband, sat in the audience with his hands held up and mouthed the words, “Whatever.”
