WWE put on quite a show in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Sunday, Aug. 23, when its biggest stars gathered at Barclays Center for 2015 SummerSlam. Hosted by The Daily Show‘s Jon Stewart (yes, really!) in his first gig since leaving Comedy Central, the wrestling event featured several major match-ups — and a few surprise endings. Read on for the highlights!
The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar
The biggest match of the night paired longtime rivals Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker, who famously faced off at 2014’s WrestleMania 30. Lesnar won that fight, but Sunday’s victory went to the Undertaker, who came back from almost-certain defeat to finish the match with his trademark “Hell’s Gate” move.
Neville and Stephen Amell vs. Stardust and King Barrett
Stephen Amell — yup, that Stephen Amell — brought his superhero strength to SummerSlam in a match against Twitter foe Stardust, with whom he’s been feuding for months. (The two even got physical during an episode of WWE Raw!)
After entering the arena in an Arrow-esque green hood, Amell teamed up with the hero-like Neville to take down Stardust and King Barrett. The CW hunk took a beating from the so-called villains but later bounced back — literally — with a flying leap from the rope onto both of his opponents.
John Cena vs. Seth Rollins (with an assist from Jon Stewart)
Jon Stewart nearly stole the show when he entered the ring during John Cena and Seth Rollins‘ match. Picking up a metal folding chair, he jammed the prop into Cena’s stomach, rendering the Cenation leader just vulnerable enough for Rollins to come in and finish him off.
The New Day vs. Los Matadores vs. Lucha Dragons vs. Prime Time Players
SummerSlam’s four-way tag-team match was (unsurprisingly) a little chaotic — but ultimately one of the better events of the night. The fight ended in favor of The New Day, who celebrated their win with an in-ring victory dance.

Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens
Cesaro and Kevin Owens continued their longstanding rivalry with an action-packed fight worthy of the SummerSlam hype. Both men got in a few good hits, but Owens executed the winning move — a Pop-Up Powerbomb — to take out Cesaro.
