Zac Efron Turns Beet Red While Watching His ‘You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown’ School Show

Beet red! Zac Efron relived a very adorable — and embarrassing! — childhood memory during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday, January 21. The late-night host revealed that Efron’s high school teacher sent in footage of the actor’s stage performance of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.

Efron, now 28, played Charlie Brown’s dog, Snoopy, in the production. In the video, he belts out the tune “Suppertime,” moonwalks(!) and nails every choreographed move.

The Dirty Grandpa star blushed while watching the footage, before breaking out Michael Jackson’s classic move for Kimmel’s live audience.

“Nice moonwalking. Very impressive by the way,” Kimmel, 48, said.

Efron replied: “Back then that crushed.”

As fans well know, the hunky star’s musical talent helped him break into Hollywood. Efron previously showed off his singing chops in 2006’s High School Musical (the Disney franchise just celebrated its 10th anniversary) and 2007’s Hairspray.
