Rocking a Meat Dress at the MTV VMAs
Where's the beef? In 2010, it was all over Gaga's body at the Aug. 25 MTV Video Music Awards. After walking the red carpet in Alexander McQueen and then changing into a Giorgio Armani number during the show, the "Bad Romance" singer accepted her Video of the Year award in a dress made entirely of raw meat, with matching meat boots, a meat hat, and a meat purse. Designed by Franc Fernandez, the controversial frock angered animal rights groups and was named the top fashion statement of the year.
