Movie Makeovers: Memorable Drab to Fab Character Transformations

Lindsay Lohan in Mean Girls

Lohan earned raves for her role in this Tina Fey-written flick about a home-schooled teen who starts public school and then falls in with a crowd of popular but catty girls known as "the Plastics." At the start of the film, her character is pretty and unmaterialistic; under the influence of the Plastics, however, she gradually becomes as vain as they are, trading her casual duds for sexier outfits and better hair. (In the end, she keeps her new look -- but drops the attitude.)
