If only it had more friends. The Social Network, which told the story of how Mark Zuckerberg created Facebook during his time as a Harvard student, lost out to The King's Speech in 2011. Aaron Sorkin's film didn't leave empty-handed, though. The popular film won Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Original Score and Best Film Editing.
