Far scarier than Horror Story's first go, Asylum pulled out all the stops (and organs) with a look at a mental hospital circa 1964. Jessica Lange haunted as the conflicted, alcoholic nun in charge. (Her fight for a patient who believed herself to be—or perhaps was—Anne Frank was strangely affecting.) As for Creep of the Year honors, it's a tie: James Cromwell for his turn as the place's Nazi criminal of a doc and Zachary Quinto as the resident psycho, er, psychiatrist. (FX)
