FACEBOOKI dont think it was right that david got booted. Everyshow there has to be some type of past that comes up. That shouldnt matter , past is the past and he was doing something that he loved. He was a great singer and to be honest Kristy shoulve been the one to go home. That girl has no talent at all. She sings soo horibble. I know david will do well in the future. He will keep his head up.

Former stripper David Hernandez was voted off American Idol last night following his performance of The Beatles’ “I Saw Her Standing There.”
“Things happen for a reason,” the 24-year-old Glendale, Arizona, native said afterwards. “We all have a plan and on top of that, you’ll see me at the top. This isn’t it for me.”
Hernandez always has his dancing to fall back on.
The Associated Press reported that, prior to Idol, Hernandez worked a nude male dancer at Dick’s Cabaret.
"He had the look and the type that people like, so he made pretty good money here," club manager Gordy Bryan said.

Hernandez was definately of the Top vocally talented from the Top 12. I messed up, that nite I didn't vote. I had been voting for him since the beginning so I knew his life depended on me. It was confirmed when he was in the bottom 3. I was a little disappointed from all the rumors so I didn't care to vote but I didn't expect him to be at the bottom at all. That annoying blonde girl should have left. Im sick of seeing her barely makin it every week. Either way we all know David was probably of the best 3 or so vocal singers! Well, now we know to live straight moral lives because your life can depend on it when you need it.

Now i'm convince the show is rigged. There is no way he shpuld not have won this season. I don't know it sounds fishy to me. I i guess that;s what happens when the show is not about talent but only popularity.

No he shouldn't have been voted off. He had a bad week but all his other 3 performances were great. He was vocally one of the best in the competition.

I definitely agree it is a popularity contest. That said, I did think David Hernandez had a great voice. I mean his "Papa was a Rolling Stone" was an excellent performance.

It is a popularity contest not their rtalent as Simon says,,So, what on earth are they seating there and judging those contestant for. They are making big money anyway for rediculing these young Americans.

I agree with 2:12 exactly. He was not the worst this week, but he is one of the worst of the bunch. He should have been one of the next few to go.
I can't believe some of you think he's attractive. No way. Simon said it just right this week...David comes off corny and desperate. No one to whom that description applies remains attractive in my book.
Still, Kristy Lee has got to go; she's a trainwreck.

All you people that are whining about him getting voted off, have you ever actually WATCHED American Idol? He wasn't very good. Especially this week. He was terrible. I thought Kristy Lee Cook should have gone home before he did, but he would have gone home in the very near future anyway. Get over it.

This show's fans suck. It's about voting for the best and it never goes that way. POPULARITY is all this is based on!!!! Danny Noriega should never have been voted off. Gay or not, he was an awesome singer!!

Based on performance- he didn't deserve to go. I think his past played a part in this. But every week someone has to go and its Americas choice. Remember that kid John a few years back- he lasted far toooo long. Maybe Simon is right- it is just a big popularity contest. Best of luck to this young man in his future endeavors.
