It's so nice that most of the perfect people in the world log onto US Magazine's site and voice their opinions. I am far from perfect, face it, so are you people. Well, me myself, is a HUGE chic-flic fan of Shia LaBeouf. He's all over my wall, HOWEVER, the choice he made was WRONG, very wrong! I have to agree with some of the others, many, MANY people are killed by drunk-drivers/ *also*street racers. Whoever the hell they are. I do agree that Shia should of have more consequence. They're not treated like everyone else, not by far. Sure this isn't the first time for Shia to be involved with the police. But what can I say, he's a star. And me also, am SO AGAINST drunk drivers. Also, what about Isabel Lucas? She was in the car with him at the time. She did agree to make the wrong choice with him. But then again, maybe she couldn't have stopped him. I don't think a lesson will be learned here, not until one of these days, someone will get seriously hurt, possibly killed. But then again...look at Nick Hogen. Not saying his lesson was learned, but look at the guy he was driving with...look at him now. And all he's gettin' is a short period of time in jail he wanted to make a freakin' tv show!!! Not trying to make this about the passengers of the bashed up vehicles here, but I'm just trying to say many car accidents happen by many stars in many areas of the world, Shia isn't the only one. And yea, there's not going to be much trouble, but what can you do about it? It all depends on who decides to make the wrong decisions in the world. There not only stars either. Maybe one day it could happen to you, you never know.

she's UGLY

He partied with his Dad at a young age. Hope he doesn't follow Robert Downey Jr.'s lead. Sounds like he's gone down the same path. Hope he can get help. Btw. My daughter is really p!ssed it might hold up her transformers movie. That kid must have high insurance. And Shia is a kid, legal yes child YES. A baby actually.

He's not just a "kid". Hes an adult, old enough to drink old enough to make adult decisions and take responsibility for his actions. Hundreds of people are KILLED by drunk drivers every year. When I was 16 I was hit by a drunk driver. My mother was killed in that accident.
There is a reason that the legal drinking age in most states is 21. Stated assume by that age that people are responsible enough to handle the decision to drink. (afterall we are old enough to serve and to die arent we?)Im 25 now, I have not always been an angel with alcohol. I went to college, I sometimes did the walk of shame. but guess what I never put someones life in danger. Yes shame on him.
Its digusting, avoidable and wrong. And its not like he didnt have the money for a cab...SUCH AN EASY DECISION.

We can all agree that driving after a few drinks is terrible choice. What I can't stand are ppl who are so quick to call him names and "shame on him".Like you've never done anything stupid in your life time. You are nobody to pass judgement.This isn't going to hurt his career. He's a kid. Get over it.

What about the stupid girl who got in his passenger seat? I blame her as well- she should have known better than to let him stumble out of the club and drive...but this was bound to happen...which sucks cause he is one of my fav actors :(

The problem with young people in Hollywood, is that if they are good looking, they can pretty much get away with anything.
There are no real stars these days.Everyone is just a temporary commodity, until they grow up, and start looking their age.
There is no talent. These kids get far too much money for nothing, and haven't done a thing to earn their dues.

There is no respect in, or for Hollywood anymore.
