Usher Raymond and his pregnant fiancée Tameka Foster cancelled their nuptials last Saturday, but don't count the couple out yet.
The singer exclusively tells Usmagazine.com that it's only a matter of time before they walk down the aisle. "As of right now we don't have a date but we will let you know when we do."
The couple, who had scheduled their July 28 wedding at the Long Island home of music executive L.A. Reid, called off the ceremony at the last minute without explanation.
Multiple newspaper and online outlets speculated that the cancellation was due to bad blood between Foster and Usher's mother, recent reports about Foster's criminal past, and Foster's resistance to signing a prenuptial agreement.
However, a source close to the couple dismisses the rumors.
"People are just hating," says the insider, who reveals the real reason they postponed the wedding was due to a pre-term labor scare.
According to the Usher source, at noon on Friday, the four-months pregnant Foster was admitted to St. Vincent's Medical Center in New York City after suffering cramping. But upon examination, says the source, "she learned it was just uneasiness brought on by the stress of the wedding."
At that point, the singer decided to postpone the ceremony. But no worries.
"Everbody's fine. Tameka and the baby are fine," Usher himself told Usmagazine.com on July 31, after the couple arrived via private plane in NYC (and Us got the exclusive photo!).
Foster chimed: "We're good. We're all doing great now."
Meanwhile, another friend of the couple assures Us that there will be an "I do" do-over in the future.
"There will be a second wedding ceremony," the pal tells Us. "This is just a postponement. They are very much in love."
Usher, 28, and Foster, 37, became engaged in January after a year of dating. The couple announced Foster's pregnancy at the end of June. The baby will be Usher's first child. Foster has three children from a previous marriage.

Usher has lost many fans over this decision, including me. I definitely will not be buying another usher album ever! He is making the biggest mistake of his life. That Man-woman he is so called in love with is selfish. She is gonna have his baby, divorce him, get alimony and child support and Usher will be looking stupid, wondering where he went wrong. You always hear of what he does for her ,but what has she done for him. It does make you wonder what kind of relationship they have. I don't think that he is in love with her. I do not understand how these women can be mothers and keep the schedule that they do chasing men. It has to be money that is available to them and a supporting cast. Having children is a sacrifice and I would not miss a day with my child over this. This goes for the fathers too. Sometimes just be a parent and get your children through life. I am not saying to consume your life with your children but family has value too.

I have to be honest...I hadn't heard anything about thee engagement until I got in the car the other day. I didn't know anything about her being pregnant until I saw the picture on my home page. I am a fan but that's just it. I like Usher's music and the personality that comes out in his music. But! You have to understand that we only see what the media want's you to see. How often do you hear about something good happening in the world? Almost never...No Tameka is not who I would have saw him with but what do I really know about Usher, hell what do you really know about Tameka? Everybody makes bad choices at some point in their lives. Sometimes it just takes that special someone to make you want to be a better person. My husband and I just got married last December and there wasn't a person in the world who didn't have something to say. I'm 25 and my husband is only 22. I have 3 children, "none of which belong to him" and my childrens father is very involved in their lives. His family even called a few family meetings trying to figure out how to stop the wedding. But nine months later they see that he is doing much better and he is happier than he had ever been. Ushers' mother is going to be there to support him regardless to what happens and if you all are true fans of Usher you will be there to support him as well. If people turned on you everytime they felt you made a bad decision where do you think you'd be?

All i can say is that i feel sorry for usher, he a woman better then Tameka. I reckon tameka is playin him she just wants to be with him for fame. Usher is under tameka i reckon, i think that tameka is telling usher what to do and being the boss of him but he doesnt see it yet. I also think that his mother is a better manger for him then tameka because his mother has experience and she knows what the fans like. Tameka doesnt have that much experience and that is going to effect on ushers career. What i want to say that Tameka is not the right woman for usher he can do much better. If he keeps tameka as manager his music career is going down.
I am a big fan of usher and i do love him and all i want is the best for him and i dont think tameka is.

I think that all things done in the dark will eventually come to light. So if she has a deep dark motive it will come out and if not then so be it. Who are we to judge who he has children with or spends his life with because he has to wake up next to her not us. Also he is not the 1st man on earth to marry someone that their mother doesnt like. As a mother she should support her child and let him live his own life and be there if things go good or bad in that relationship. I feel that Usher should first and foremost make amends with his mother. No woman is worth losing what she has done for him as his mother and manager. Tomeka does seem to be looking for a gold mine, but why give her the satisfaction. If she is indeed pregnant with Usher's child, then he can fulfill his fatherly duties. Take some time and think things over, and let this woman ease her way back out of the spot light. She really does make him look less of everything right about now!
